From History to His Story . . .

History isn’t just about what happened. It’s about who shaped it, and who never stopped working behind it all. God’s fingerprints are visible in every age, every empire, every movement. From the beginning of time, He has been telling a story of redemption, promise, and purpose.
Their Place in the World
As students begin to see how the Bible fits within the broader historical narrative, they also start to understand how their own lives are part of God’s continuing work in the world. It’s no longer just history. It’s His Story, and that’s why I love it.
More than a Class
Studying history with this lens helps students develop more than just academic knowledge. It grows discernment. It shapes their worldview. It deepens their faith.
By exploring how God moved through people, events, and civilizations, students begin to see how He is still moving today. History becomes a tool for growth, courage, and wisdom.
Worth Knowing
Learning history isn’t just about checking off a school subject. It’s about discovering the bigger picture. It’s about seeing how every battle, invention, leader, and turning point fits into God’s greater story. When students realize they’re not just learning about the past but uncovering how God has moved, they want to be a part of it. History becomes exciting, meaningful, and deeply personal. It’s more than facts. It’s His Story. And it’s a story worth knowing.
Partnering with Families
Because I want young people to know and feel that they truly do have a place in history and His Story, every lesson I teach is shaped by Biblical principles and guided by a desire to help students thrive. I create a learning environment where every student feels seen and heard. A special part of my tutoring includes supporting students with learning differences, including those on the autism spectrum. I believe every child deserves to feel successful, and I tailor my approach to meet each student’s unique strengths and needs.
