At Anchor Enrichment Academy, we seek to foster a learning environment grounded in Christian values and a Biblical worldview. While we welcome families from a variety of backgrounds and beliefs, our instructors and staff are asked to affirm and uphold the Statement of Faith as part of their role in shaping the educational experience. This shared foundation allows us to maintain a consistent, respectful, and values-based atmosphere for all learners. We invite you to read our Statement of Faith to better understand the principles that guide our leadership and teaching team.

1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, Word of God, authoritative in matters of faith and

life. (2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:20-21).

 

2. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit

(Deuteronomy 6:4, 1 Timothy 1:17, Matthew 28:19-20).

 

3. We believe in the deity and humanity of Christ (Philippians 2:6-8), in His virgin birth (Matthew 1:22-

23), in His sinless life (Hebrews 4:15), in His miracles (John 21:24-25), in His vicarious and atoning

death through His shed blood (Romans 5:8-9), in His bodily resurrection (John 20:25-29), in His

ascension to the right hand of the Father (Philippians 2:9-11), in His present rule as Head of the

Church (Colossians 1:18) and in His personal return in power and glory (1 Thessalonians 4:16).

 

4. We believe salvation is first and foremost God’s gift that begins and ends with the work of the Holy

Spirit (Titus 3:5). We believe in the perpetual ministry of the Holy Spirit, by who's indwelling the

Christian is increasingly conformed to His image. (2 Thessalonians 2:13, Galatians 5:16-25).

 

5. We believe that all those who die in God’s grace through faith are assured eternal salvation; those

who reject Jesus through persistent unbelief suffer the punishment of Hell (Ephesians 2:8, 2 Peter 2:4-

10).

 

6. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, with equality across racial,

gender, and class differences (Galatians 3:26-28).

 

7. We believe God wonderfully and graciously expressed His image in humanity as male and female.

Both of these distinct complementary genders are indispensable to fully reflect the image and nature

of God (Genesis 1:27). Gender-based discord, both internal (between one's biological sex and self-

perceived gender) and external (between males and females), diminishes the ability of humanity to

faithfully bear God’s image (1 Corinthians 11:11-12).

 

8. We believe that marriage is the uniting of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union

(Genesis 2:18-25). We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a

woman who are married to each other (Hebrews 13:4). We believe that all other forms of sexual

conduct are sinful (1 Corinthians 6:9-10).

 

9. We believe that followers of Jesus are called to temper their human judgments with humility and

repentance (Matthew 7:1-5, 1 Timothy 1:15). Every person must be afforded compassion, love,

kindness, respect, and dignity. (Luke 6:31). Hateful and harassing behavior or attitudes directed

toward any individual are to be repudiated and are not in accord with the Scriptures (Proverbs 22:10;

Ephesians 4:29)

 

This statement of faith does not exhaust the extent of our beliefs. The Bible itself speaks with final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of mankind, and is the sole and final source of all that we believe (2 Timothy 3:16).

 

The Leadership of Anchor Enrichment Academy is committed to providing a Christ-honoring, wholesome environment for families to grow and use their talents and skills. We welcome those who cannot with a clear conscience ascribe to every tenant of our doctrinal statement, but who are willing to partner with us in pursuit of our goal of glorifying God through the arts. We expect all participants of any age to conduct themselves, while in shared space and community with Anchor Enrichment Academy, in a way that aligns with the spirit of our core values and honors the other participants, staff members, and community members.
